Day 1: San José
Arrive San José, Costa Rica . meet and greet at the international airport and transfer to SJO Palacio…overnight
Day 2: Tortuguero
Early morning land and boat transfer to Tortuguero, passing through Braulio Carrillo National Park, visit a banana packing plantation (Mon - Fri weather permitting). Arrive in Tortuguero in time for lunch. Afternoon experiences the local culture, walk nature trails or just relax by the pool. Tortuguero is the most important nestling site in the western half of the Caribbean for the endangered green turtle In season take an optional night tour, (not included) to see the nesting turtles. Overnight Mawamba or Pachira Lodge (BLD)
Day 3: Tortuguero National Park by Boat
This morning, explore the smaller canals of Tortuguero National Park in special boats designed for better visibility to get a close look at the jungle vegetation, and wildlife. In the afternoon visit Tortuguero Village and the Caribbean Conservation Museum. (B, L, D) Overnight Mawamba or Pachira Lodge. (BLD)
Day 4: Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs
Early breakfast then transfer by domestic flight back to San Jose, transfer to the Arenal Volcano area and EcoThermales Hot Springs Resort. Plenty of time to relax and enjoy the natural hot mineral pools and waterfalls. (B,L)..Overnight Volcano Lodge or Arenal Paradiso Lodge l depending on availability
Day 5: Arenal
Day Free for Optional Tours (not included in rate) Overnight Volcano Lodge or Arenal Paradiso Lodge, depending on availability.

Day 6: TURU BA RI / Jaco Beach Area
Depart for Jaco Beach area on Costa Rica's Pacific coast, stopping along the way, at TURU BA RI Tropical Park. At TURU BA RI, tour includes Aerial Tramway ride of 2,000 ft. long, at 265 ft. height, with the latest European technology offering breathtaking views of the TURU BA RI Tropical Park and surrounding area. Butterfly Garden: of 12,400 square feet and with over 30 different butterfly species, an astonishing entry into the insect world…Palm Collection: With over 150 species from around the world, carefully taken care of to offer a unique exhibit for the most curious plant lovers.
Countryside Farm: With typical indigenous ranch, sugar mill, organic vegetable garden, domestic animals and two enjoyable mazes to challenge your orientation sense!
Herbarium: Learn what plants Costa Ricans use for curative needs and to spice their food.
Cactus Collection: A showcase of funny shapes and spines to remind us of the inhabitants of the dry areas of America.
The Indian Trail: Enjoy the amazing forest in all comfort, with paved trails, bridges over the stream and the display of the beautiful Long-Tailed Manakin, with its magnificent songs and courtship dances.
Bamboo Area: Hear the mystic bamboo move with the wind and find out why our visitors consider this a meditation refuge.
Tarcoles River: One of the most important rivers of the country, with the possibility of spotting the famous American Crocodile.
Bromeliads Garden: With over 500 plants, this is an amazing way to learn about the marvels of this family, exclusive of the tropics of the Americas.
